What is "Brain Clouds"?

Brain Clouds is a new blogging service currently in development that anyone can use, but includes an additional set of unique features.

In addition to the features common to most blogging services, Brain Clouds also includes:

Multiple stylesheets for different look and feel of a blog, including the ability to create custom styles.
Time adjustment of all posts and comments in a blog. Want your blog posts to appear to be 100 years in the future or 100 years in the past? You no longer have to do the math yourself and keep track of dates; the system does that automatically.
One user login can have multiple identities, each with his/her own blog, all of which can be managed from one central administrative interface.
Ability to group identities in to different categories, so you can simultaneously manage different characters and campaigns without confusion.
Integrated image gallery, including support for uploading images as-is. For example, if you want to "steg" or camouflage an image file, or have a specific graphic element that you do not want lost due to JPEG recompression, you can upload the image "lossless" as-is. The system will auto-create thumbnails, but the source image will remain untouched.
Support to upload small MP3s or video files.
Ability to completely hide a blog's public appearance until the exact date that it is ready to launch. This includes masking it from search and giving the URL the appareance of being a non-existant user.
Ability to manage all comments through a single administrative interface.
Ability to post-date entries and comments so that they will automatically be posted at a specific time in the future. This includes post-dating of blog entries, images, comments and messages.
Ability to download mailing lists that include participants in all blogs under your account.
Support for pointing any domain to our IP address and creating a blog to use that domain automatically.
All URLs are search engine friendly.
Integrated statistical tracking of all page hits and activity.

The core of the Brain Clouds blog system was created by Darklight Interactive, and has already been used as part of the Looking Glass Laboratories alternate reality game.

Brain Clouds is still under active development, and as a result creation of new blogs by end users is currently not available. But you can REGISTER NOW and, as soon as it does become available to the public, you will be one of the first to take advantage of the features.
